The teenage years are a time where identities was formed, changed, shaped, and swayed by both internal and external factors; however, teens often don't take the time or don't have the skills to self-reflect on who they are, how they're perceived, or where they're at mentally and emotionally.  As one of Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences, intrapersonal intelligence is a crucial skill to cultivate and hone.  Specifically, teaching mindfulness in the classroom has a myriad of benefits for our students to handle stress, anxiety, and other emotionals.  This session will focus on some lessons and strategies to help foster intrapersonal communication and mindfulness.
